The Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society has two Palliative Care Centres where it treats hundreds of patients every year.

The Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society, considering the beneficial effects of the patients’ stay in their own home environment, offers the Nursing Homecare Service.

Psychological support remains an important part of the holistic approach to cancer treatment, since the nature of the disease and its treatments may have a psychological, social and mental impact on patients and their families.

The Social Support Service of the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society provides the opportunity for cancer patients to utilize the social support services and the programs addressed to them and their families.

Palliative care is a philosophy and a holistic approach that aims at improving the quality of life of patients with chronic diseases. Physiotherapists focus on providing pain relief and treating other physical, psycho-social and spiritual problems.

Our Society operates Lymphedema Clinics for cancer patients in all cities, staffed by physiotherapists trained in lymphedema management.

Touch possesses such therapeutic properties that enable people perceive and experience the world. With touch we can get relief, we can express love, soothe pain and heal.

The Service provides transport for patients scheduled for treatment or follow-up appointments to the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Centre, the Oncology Departments of the Nicosia and Limassol General Hospitals, and the German Oncology Centre in Limassol.
