Charity Exhibition "Colour and Light"
21/10/2025
The Cyprus Anticancer Society and the Leventis Gallery present the exhibition "Colour and Light: The Gardens of Arodafnousa become Art," a unique initiative that unites the world of art with that of charity.
Inspired by the beauty, serenity, and hope exuded by the gardens of the "Arodafnousa" Palliative Care Center, the painters of Nicolas Panayi's Art Workshop created unique works, which will be available in a charity auction to support the Center.
Through this exhibition, art is transformed into an act of love, hope, and support for the patients and their families, proving that creativity can become a bridge of humanity and life force.
The opening of the exhibition took place on Monday, October 20, 2025, by the President of the House of Representatives, Ms. Annita Demetriou, along with an auction of the works. The exhibition will run until October 26, 2025.
As part of the opening, the documentary from the "Art in the City" series by the Press and Information Office, titled "Art through the Gardens of Arodafnousa," was also screened. Watch the video here.
The exhibition is being held with the support of the Grand Sponsor FREEDOM24 and the Dedicated Supporter EAC (Electricity Authority of Cyprus), whose valuable contribution illuminates the vision of giving through art.
