The only accredited palliative care provider in Cyprus receives international recognition — at the very moment the country establishes its first legislative framework for the sector.

It is with great joy and pride that we announce the official presentation of the Accreditation Canada certificate — one of the most respected international accreditations in the field of healthcare. Today, our Association stands as the only accredited palliative care provider in Cyprus.

Decades of Presence, International Validation

For decades, long before any law or state provision existed, we were there — alongside patients and their families, with compassion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment. Accreditation Canada is not simply a new distinction; it is the international validation of that long history.

This accreditation comes at a historic moment: the House of Representatives has just passed, for the first time, legislation regulating palliative care services in Cyprus. As the only already-certified provider, we are uniquely positioned to lead this new era.

This distinction recognises the high standard of quality and safety we provide every day to the people and families we support, as well as our enduring commitment to palliative care delivered with dignity and compassion.
